This session is a hands-on introduction to the basics of using Microsoft Excel for grading. Topics
covered include setting up a an Excel file for a course or series of courses, setting up the file to conform
to course grade components, entering and working with data, and creating and using formulas for
calculating course grades. Participants in the session will work together to set up files for actual courses.
Participants should bring gradebooks for courses they are currently teaching to the session.Attendees
will learn basic skills related to using Microsoft Excel for grading.
Prerequisites: Attendees should bring gradebooks that they are using to grade courses that they are currently teaching.
