Scanning basics and techniques will be demonstrated. Strategies for scanning at the correct
resolution, saving in the optimal file format, and choosing the best scanner for the task will
be presented. Techniques for finding images on the web as well as an overview of working
with pictures obtained from digital cameras will be discussed. Time is also allotted for participants
to practice scanning.
Prerequsites: A picture to be scanned is helpful but not required
