Peer-Led Team Learning- Frey
PLTL Web site
Many studies have shown that students need to be actively involved in the learning process,
and students involved in small groups learn and retain more than students working alone.
One method that supplements the course structure is called peer-led team learning (PLTL).
In this session, we will discuss the PLTL method and how it is currently implemented
in General Chemistry, General Physics, and Calculus I & II. In addition, statistical evaluations
of the method will be discussed.
Intended audience: any faculty member
