Beginning with the fall 2004 semester, the Telesis course
management system is available for use in all university courses.
As of the first week of classes, nearly 150 courses are using
Telesis in the Schools of Arts & Sciences, Architecture,
Engineering and Social Work. This includes about 50 sections of
L13 EComp100, Writing 1 in Arts & Sciences.

In
the first two weeks of the semester there have been nearly 16,000 total logons to the Telesis
by 2,800 faculty, student and staff users. To date, the most popular feature is the
syllabus area with over 85% of Telesis courses adding syllabus
content. Almost 50% of Telesis courses are using Gradebook
functionality and 47% are using the Assignments area to post
materials for students.
