Film & Media Archive Now Searchable Online

The University Libraries have recently created an online, searchable catalog that allows anyone to search the complete holdings of the Film & Media Archive, which holds all materials used in the research and production of works by renowned documentary filmmakers Henry Hampton (Eyes on the Prize) and William Miles (I Remember Harlem). The online catalog, powered by MavisWeb, allows users to search the wide variety of objects held in the Archive, from paper documents and photographs to audio and video, as well as digital materials. Users can also use the catalog to view selected digital materials, including transcripts of over one hundred interviews conducted for Eyes on the Prize I.
